Luva Huva

Luva Huva LingerieLuva Huva produce beautiful hand made lingerie using ethically sourced fabrics, using end of line fabrics and remnants to create short lines and one off pieces.

Joanna Ketterer, the designer, wanted to create a lingerie collection that celebrated elegant feminine style whilst also provided a sustainable alternative to the often wasteful fashion industry.

In addition Luva Huva has developed garments made from eco-friendly materials such as hemp and bamboo. The results are miles away from the dreary, uncomfortable clothing that have unfortunately become associated with natural fabrics. In fact, the textiles are brilliantly soft and breathable, allowing for wonderfully wearable lingerie. Luva Huva is also particularly proud to support one of the last UK based manufacturers of elastic.

Joanna draws inspiration for the collections from the rustic Suffolk countryside where she spent her childhood. The colours of the collections seem to mirror the hues found in an English country garden. The range is full of the soft pinks that can be found on a cherry blossom tree, or the bright cream of cow parsley that dashes country fields. Each garment is carefully named after a wild flower.

All of the items in the range are finished with frills and delicate bows in a variety of pastel shades.

g=9.8

g=9.8Designed for ultimate comfort, g=9.8’s designs are truly luxurious. We hope not to insult your intelligence by explaining that g=9.81m/s2 is the figure for gravitational acceleration, an invitation by the design team to take care of the earth.

Their French designer Sophie Young has created a new generation of lingerie and loungewear made from 94% recycled white pine tree clippings (all of which are timber grown) and 6% spandex for stretch, making a truly sustainable and biodegradable textile.
