Exchanges and Refunds (continued)

Please note the following exceptions to our returns policy:

Where the item is returned to us in a used condition we will not issue a refund. Any items that have been worn, washed, marked, affected by odours including cigarette smoke or had any tags removed are non-returnable and will be sent back to you. Please leave all tags in place until you are sure the garment fits. All knickers, pants, shorts and teddies should be tried whilst wearing existing underwear.

All bespoke items are non-returnable. Notification to cancel the order must be given within 24 hours of placing the order, before work starts on the item.

We are only able to refund to the card originally used.

We are unable to refund gift box charges when goods have been returned.

Saumarez cannot accept responsibility for the damage or loss of packages or products sent back to us by a customer so we recommend that you opt for recorded or special delivery and retain your proof of postage and tracking details. Please ensure all parcels are clearly labelled and securely sealed before posting.

We take so much care when packing your order, please take the same care when returning your items to us by folding garments neatly to avoid unnecessary creasing which can cause irreparable damage to some fabrics.

* The date of receipt is defined as the date the item arrived at your requested delivery address. To clarify, if you are unavailable to take delivery of the item and the parcel is taken to your local sorting office for collection, the 14-day period commences from the original day delivery was attempted.

Care

By its very nature much of our lingerie is very delicate. We therefore recommend that you hand wash all lingerie using a mild biodegradable soap in lukewarm water and hang to dry.

Pasties and tassels can be wiped clean gently using a clean white cloth.

Payment

We currently use the payment provider HSBC Merchant Services and accept the following credit/debit cards:

Visa Mastercard Delta Solo Amex

We are unable to accept cheques or direct bank transfer or another other forms of payment other than those listed above.

Delivery

Orders will be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery (signed for) in the UK or International Signed For Service for all non UK orders. All orders will be dispatched within 2 working days.

All orders are packaged in recycled tissue paper and posted in a recycled postage bag or box. Please recycle all our packaging.

Delivery is charged at a flat rate of £3.50 for UK and world wide orders.

Exchanges and Refunds

You can return goods, for any reason, for a full refund or exchange. If you need to return an item to us you simply send an email, within 14 days* of receiving your order, to providing the following details:

Order number
Item(s) you wish to return
Reason(s) for return

We will reply very quickly, with full instructions on how to return the item(s). Please wait for our reply before sending goods back to us because unexpected returns can result in delays.

Following a reply from Saumarez all returned goods must arrive at the Saumarez office within 14 days. Any exchange items placed on hold will only be held for 14 days. After that date they will be placed back into stock.

Where goods are found to be faulty we will reimburse the full cost of return postage, where goods are not faulty you will be responsible for the return shipping and packing costs.
